Director of Nursing – Robotics Program

Ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in the OR running a robotics program in a surgical environment with high (600+) surgical case load.

• Strategic Leadership: Provide overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the OR, GI lab, PACU, Pre‑op, and Pre‑admission Testing Clinic. Execute supervisory responsibilities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable laws.
• Clinical & Quality Excellence: Monitor and evaluate quality, patient satisfaction, and clinical outcomes. Create strategies for continuous improvement and accreditation compliance.
• Operational & Financial Management: Oversee administrative and financial performance, including budget development, resource allocation, and cost control.
• Robotics Program Stewardship: Lead growth and quality of our three‑Da Vinci XI robotics program, supporting master surgeons who proctor nationally.
• Talent Development & Mentorship: Mentor approximately 100 clinical and support staff, fostering professional growth and teamwork.

  Build strong relationships with surgeons and physicians to optimize scheduling, efficiency, and surgical experience.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current New Mexico RN license or multistate compact license.
• BLS certification (obtained within 14 days of hire).
• Minimum 5 years progressive nursing leadership in OR.
• Experience managing high‑volume surgical environment (600+ cases/month).
• Direct robotics surgery program experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication, critical thinking, and decisive judgment.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and lead via influence.

• Master's degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• Experience in women's health or specialty surgical hospital.
