Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Med/Surg night shift position requiring a NM or compact RN license and BLS certification.

• Position is on a Medical Surgical unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 hour shifts from 18:30 to 07:00
• Every other weekend coverage is required
• Floating required to similar units or to assist in other units as needed
• Uses Epic charting system;
  Epic experience is preferred
• Local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• No travel pairs or groups will be considered
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Maximum of 3 days of requested time off will be automatically approved; no time off allowed during the first week of orientation
• Scrubs of any color may be worn, but no logos are allowed

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg RN experience required; 1-2 years preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred
