Position: Dialysis Registered Nurse (RN)

Dialysis Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care at one of DCI’s in‑center hemodialysis units as part of a patient care team. Our RNs are integral in ensuring safe care and the highest quality outcomes are prioritized for every patient.

$10,000 sign‑on bonus is available!

Schedule

Full‑time, three 12‑hour shifts starting at 6 am;
Sundays off; no overnight shifts.

Compensation

Pay ranges from $32‑$45 per hour, depending on nursing and dialysis experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare dialysis machine, its alarms, and treatment supplies and ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform hemodialysis treatments per facility policies and procedures
  • Ongoing patient education, training and health coaching
  • Monitor patients during dialysis, assessing and communicating changes with physician and families
  • Administer and chart all prescribed medications
  • Follow CDC/CMS infection control regulations
  • Participate in patient care conferences, rounds and chart reviews
  • Document required patient education efforts
  • Facilitate continuity of care with local hospitals
  • Assist in medication inventory maintenance
  • Lead a small patient care team
  • Contribute to onboarding new staff members as directed
  • Additional tasks as requested
Qualifications

Education/Training
  • Accredited nursing degree required
  • Dialysis experience not required; job shadow opportunities available
  • DCI provides 3‑month comprehensive training, including classroom group sessions and one‑on‑one skills training
