American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg night shift position with floating requirements at a hospital setting, requiring a NM or compact RN license.

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital
• Night shift schedule (4x12 hours, 18:30-7:00)
• Options available for 36 or 48 hour work weeks
• Must float to similar units within scope as needed
• Caring for stroke and post-surgery patients
• 24/7 central telemetry monitoring tech provided; RN not required to interpret dysrhythmias
• Weekends required as needed
• First time travelers are welcome to apply
• Participation in brief unit orientation is provided
• Required to wear professional scrubs in any color without logos
• No travel pairs or groups accepted for this assignment
• Maximum of 3 days requested time off approved automatically; no time off allowed during first week of orientation

• Active NM or compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum of 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience
• Current certifications: BLS and NIHSS
• EPIC charting experience preferred
  
  Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the system for at least 1 year prior to travel assignment
