AMG Specialty Hospital – Albuquerque seeks a Full‑Time Nurse Practitioner for Thursday–Sunday shifts (32 hours). The role provides routine care and management of patients with complex chronic and acutely ill conditions in collaboration with the supervising physician. The practitioner delivers patient care management, consultation, admission, accurate and timely history and physicals, develops and directs treatment plans, orders and interprets diagnostic tests, performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, prescribes medications, provides timely discharge summaries, and ensures discharge planning and placement.

They assess patients for changes, initiate appropriate interventions, and provide leadership as a health‑care resource, interdisciplinary consultant, case‑management consultant, and patient advocate.

• Maintains unencumbered, current New Mexico RN and ARNP licensure
• Completes annual education requirements
• Attends facility P&T, Quality MEC at the request of CEO
• Adheres to dress code; appearance is neat and clean
• Maintains patient confidentiality at all times
• Reports to work on time and as scheduled
• Wears identification while on duty
• Represents the organization positively and professionally at all times
• Complies with all organizational policies and standards regarding ethical business practices
• Communicates the Mission and Vision, and models Values of the organization
• Effectively and consistently communicates clinical and administrative directives to personnel and encourages
• Three to five years’ experience in patient care services and/or management desired but not required
• The ability to demonstrate leadership ability, and the application of sound administrative principles
