Responsibilities
  • Adheres to the LPN scope of practice by contributing to the assessment of the health status of individuals, families, and communities.
  • Deliver direct patient care, including administering treatments as prescribed, assisting nurses and physicians with various procedures and documenting patient needs, actions taken, and responses.
  • Administer prescribed medications, including parenteral/intravenous infusions as prescribed and document according to policy.
  • Document and report patient condition, care delivery and post procedure follow‑up. Assess changes in patient condition and report to nurse and physician as needed.
  • Incorporate nursing activities that create a compassionate, supportive and therapeutic environment for patients and staff, promoting comfort and healing.
  • Apply Exceptional Patient Experience principles in care interactions.
  • Other duties assigned.
Qualifications
  • New graduate or experienced nurse from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (NM).
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • BLS certification.
