Change the lives of our patients/residents and enjoy the rewards of knowing them and their families as a Registered Nurse - RN. Provide care for a variety of patients/residents with complex diagnoses, enhancing knowledge and skills across many areas.
Skills required:
Excellent documentation and assessment skills; ability to mentor and train floor nurses on HNF documentation; strong communication skills; attention to detail. NM Medicaid HNF experience is not required but would be a plus.
Job Duties
- Nurse will document where needed.
- Nurse will follow up on daily nursing and templates follow through.
- Nurse will provide training for nurses for all shifts including weekends.
- Nurse will provide follow‑up to documentation issues with Administrator.
- Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
- Establish realistic, measurable short‑ and long‑term patient goals with interventions put in place as needs arise to minimize rehospitalizations and continue evaluation of outcomes.
- Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
- Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure that tasks and interventions are implemented.
- Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
- CPR Certification is required.
