Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential patient care and support to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting. This role involves assisting with daily activities, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Monitor and document residents' health status, noting any changes or concerns.
• Support nursing staff by providing timely and accurate patient information.
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain cleanliness of patient areas.
• Ensure residents' safety by observing and reporting any potential hazards or issues.
• Adhere to facility policies regarding documentation, patient privacy, and safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current CNA certification or license required.
• Proven experience working with elderly or long-term care residents preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and adhere to safety protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work scheduled shifts, including Sundays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays.
