Role: Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
- Conduct pre-, intra-, and post-procedure assessments and monitoring
- Administer medications and respond to emergencies
- Circulate and scrub during procedures
- Interpret hemodynamic data to inform patient care
- Collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families about procedures and care
- Ensure delivery of evidence-based, patient-centered care in a community-focused setting
- Maintain professional development and uphold high standards of practice
Qualifications & Skills
- Current RN license
- Experience or knowledge in cardiac care and procedures
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and emergency response skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with medical teams
- Excellent patient education and communication skills
- Commitment to evidence-based and patient-centered care
