American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Cath Lab position requiring Cath Lab experience and the ability to take call for STEMI or vascular cases.

• Work in the Cath Lab/Heart Hospital unit performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterizations
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM)
• Call requirement of 8-12 days per month for STEMI or vascular cases
• Floating to like units within scope expected as needed based on facility needs
• Brief unit orientation provided when floating

• Active NM or compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required, RCIS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Able to perform cardioversion, circulate procedures, and interpret/manage dysrhythmias
• Experience monitoring procedural sedation
• Experience with diagnostic and interventional catheterizations, left and right heart catheterization
• Experience with Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring
• Scrub procedures and medication administration for procedural sedation preferred
• Epic charting experience preferred

• Must reside outside a 50 mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Travel pairs or groups are not accepted
• Candidates should expect to complete lab work within 48 business hours of contract signing
• Limited RTO auto-approval, with no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation
