American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab RN with at least 1 year of cath lab experience for a day-shift position requiring call coverage for STEMI and vascular cases.

• Work in the diagnostic and interventional Cardiac Cath Lab
• Performs diagnostic and interventional catheterizations including left and right heart catheterizations
• Monitors pulmonary artery lines/Swan Ganz catheters and manages procedural sedation
• Day shift schedule (4x10 hours, 7:00 AM-5:30 PM), 36 hours per week
• On-call required 8-12 days per month for STEMI or vascular cases
• Floating to like units within scope may be required based on facility needs

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) currently in hand or pending (must be obtained prior to start)
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; RCIS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
• Skilled in cardioversion, circulating procedures, and interpretation/management of dysrhythmias
• Experience monitoring procedural sedation
• Epic charting experience preferred

• Provide direct patient care in both diagnostic and interventional cath lab settings
• Scrub procedures and medication administration for procedural sedation are part of the role
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Brief onsite orientation provided for floating assignments
