Our client is seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing operations and strengthen quality systems across the organization. This role focuses on process discipline, documentation control, internal audits, material review, and helping develop a strong quality culture on the production floor. The Quality Engineer will work closely with Quality Technicians, Production Supervisors, and Engineering to solve problems quickly, prevent defects, and improve overall product consistency.
What You’ll Do- Support and improve the company’s Quality Management System.
- Lead and participate in internal audits and help prepare for external audits.
- Maintain documentation control, standard work, and quality procedures.
- Manage and support MRB, NCRs, and corrective actions (CAPA).
- Analyze customer complaints and drive containment and root-cause activities.
- Own calibration schedules and equipment traceability.
- Monitor supplier quality trends and support supplier-related corrective actions.
- Mentor Quality Technicians and support daily production quality needs.
- 3+ years of Quality Engineering or operations-quality experience.
- Experience with audits, document control, MRB, NCR, and corrective actions.
- Understanding of ISO 9001 fundamentals.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and apply basic GD&T.
- Hands‑on experience with inspection tools, metrology, and calibration processes.
- Strong data interpretation and problem‑solving skills.
- Clear communication, follow‑through, and ability to work cross‑functionally.
- ASQ certifications (CQA, CQE, CSSGB).
- Experience mentoring quality technicians or supporting calibration programs.
- Background in hardware, assembly, or manufacturing environments.
