Quality Control / Manager, Quality Technician/ Inspector
Overview
Supports Quality Assurance System effectiveness in the CTS manufacturing environment to ensure compliance to quality standards and regulatory requirements and the effectiveness of continuous improvement initiatives. Performs document control, calibration, internal audits, corrective action, and monthly reporting. Conducts Final Quality Audits on finished products and uses measuring devices to confirm compliance to customer specifications. Assists with investigations related to customer complaints/returns.
Manages and maintains the on-site CTS training program and collaborates with the manufacturing team to ensure employees receive appropriate training while maintaining quality standards.
- Conducts final quality audits of CTS products and process audits throughout manufacturing
- Supports and maintains calibration of monitoring and measurement equipment
- Coordinates on-site training program
- Manages and maintains weekly/monthly Quality Assurance reports
- Completes/verifies and sends out Corrective Action Reports
- Assists Quality department in document control functions and overall compliance to relevant standards and regulations
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree in business or quality-related field desired. Experience in lieu of education can be considered.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience related to Quality Assurance or related field strongly preferred
- Skills & Abilities: Ability to interface with different organizations and employee levels within the company; ability to work independently with minimal supervision; knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies is a plus; good computer, typing, and technical writing skills; strong verbal/written communication; ability to manage projects and priorities
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to comprehend procedures and instructions to achieve independent decisions
- Experience with document management systems is a plus
- Experience developing, improving methods for tracking and retrieving information
- Excellent customer service skills
- Usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required
- Ability to lift material and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs throughout the shift
