Underage Purchaser Tobacco Compliance Checks MEXICO

Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG) and LPE Associates has been contracted to conduct Federal Tobacco Compliance Checks in NEW MEXICO
. MSG inspectors and Underage Purchasers will perform non-confrontational compliance checks on local tobacco retailers to ensure the sale of tobacco products to underage person(s) is restricted.

To complete these inspections, we need both a Federal credentialed Inspector and a underage person under the age of 21 to accompany the Inspector for the attempted tobacco purchase. Ideal purchasers will be 16 to 20 years old, have a strong work ethic, and have sufficient free time to complete the assigned inspections with the inspector. This will not interfere with the Underage Purchasers current education schedule.

• Complete required online training course

• Travel to assigned tobacco retailers and attempt to purchase designated tobacco products
• Transfer tobacco evidence to Inspector custody after retailer purchase has been made.
• Support Inspectors with data entry for FDA reporting requirements.

• Willingness to testify in enforcement hearings

• Flexibility with schedule

• Real work experience with a Federal project

• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Must have a valid state  verify age prior to performing inspections.

• IDs will not be shared with tobacco retailers.

• Complete short online orientation session.
• Must be under the age of 21 when performing any compliance check.
• Access to a car is not needed for the Underage Purchaser.
