Subject: 24.08.30 Postdoctoral positions in biomolecular simulations at the University of New Mexico
1-2 postdoctoral positions are available in Dr. Xiaorong Liu's research group in the Department of Chemistry and Chemical Biology at the University of New Mexico. The successful candidates will develop highly efficient and accurate computational tools to design small molecule drugs and biologics by integrating enhanced sampling techniques, advanced machine learning algorithms, and free energy methods. Research findings will be published in peer-reviewed journals and presented at conferences.
Minimum Qualifications- Ph.D. or Equivalent in Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biophysics, or a related field, by the start date of appointment
- Experience in computational chemistry with a strong emphasis on biomolecular simulations
- Good programming skills in Python or other languages
- Experience in developing enhanced sampling algorithms and/or free energy methods
