Lead Event Specialist Part Time - 4938
Product Connections - Join us to apply for this part‑time role of Lead Event Specialist. The position is based in Albuquerque, NM and is designed for a full‑time on‑site presence within a merchant retail environment, with the potential for flexible hours up to a maximum of 25 hours per week.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean and secured in the agreed back‑room area.
- Act as the point person for all events when the Supervisor is absent, communicating with store management and supporting other event specialists.
- Lead the team by providing knowledge, leadership, and assistance with event kits and materials.
- Proactively intercept, engage, and sell products to consumers in a positive manner.
- Prepare and serve food samples in compliance with food safety guidelines.
- Set up and prepare the event table for execution, maintaining a clean, sterile, and safe workstation.
- Complete all assigned work and assist in preparation for client visits, completing audit corrections as directed.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to meet company and client objectives.
- Submit expense reports and online requirements on the day of event execution.
- Take digital photos of the perfect table setup to document success stories for clients.
- Report any injuries or incidents to the direct supervisor promptly.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficient use of personal computer and mobile device for applications and internal systems.
- Food Safety Professional Certification or local food‑handler permit, if required.
- English proficiency; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push/pull a demonstration cart, and handle food preparation equipment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present product features and benefits effectively.
- Professional appearance with proper grooming and adherence to retailer dress code.
The employee will regularly stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms (including overhead), talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb (including a 6’ ladder), balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods using raw products, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
