Position Title: Stocker - Aisle

Responsible for providing prompt and courteous customer service, stocking products on shelves, and maintaining aisles clean.

• Provides prompt, courteous and friendly customer service.
• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves.
• Rotates merchandise to ensure products do not expire on shelves.
• Organizes and front-faces items on shelves.
• Performs proper inspections to meet HACCP regulations.
• Assists in inventory review for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damage.
• Ensures shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing and market conditions.
• Follows a program to maintain the cleanliness of the area through a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing, pulling out pallets, and cleaning underneath.
• Continuously reviews floor status for safety hazards and promptly handles spills and removes trash (e.g., plastic wrap, plastic ties, pieces of wood) from the floor and discards it appropriately.
• Promptly informs supervisors of low stock or out-of-stock merchandise.

• Performs other work-related duties as required and assigned.
• May be required to work in other departments as needed.

• Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and supervisors.
• Basic reading and math skills.

• Must wear steel toe boots.

• Temperature is mostly moderate but includes exposure to refrigerated and freezer areas. Temperatures near the Receiving Department and Front-End, where doors are mostly open, vary depending on outdoor temperatures.
