Overview

Retail Scan Associate (ALBUQUERQUE, NM 87109) s is a permanent PART-TIME role. Scan Scape Retail Scan Associates visit a designated selection of stores each week to scan all product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps throughout the store. The data collected is analyzed and used to improve the sales performance of the product and retailer (store).

We are hiring part-time Retail Scan Associates to perform in-store data collections at assigned local retailers every week for 52 weeks a year, including holiday weeks. Our store types include grocery, convenience, drug, pet, and mass merchandise stores. We work with major brand retailers like Walmart, Kroger, Target, Albertsons, and other national chains, as well as small independent retailers. Retail Scan Associates use a downloadable app on their mobile phone to scan barcodes in numerous locations throughout each store.

• Collect in-store barcode data across designated stores weekly.
• Scan product barcodes on displays and in aisle locations, including aisle end caps.
• Complete Display Scanning and adhere to weekly deadlines.
• Assist with Custom Projects when requested, which may add 30 minutes to 2 hours per store.
• Provide quantity data for about 45% of scanned products as required.

• At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
• Reliable vehicle with minimum state auto insurance coverage.
• Ability to stand for long periods and access products throughout the store; ability to lift up to 25 pounds; reach up to 6 feet; bend/stretch/stoop/stand.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands, wrists, arms, and legs for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Must be a deadline-driven self-starter.
• Must have access to reliable Wi-Fi and be tech savvy.
• High school diploma or GED (preferred).

What does a Retail Scan Associate's week look like? You will report to your store within the described deadline and complete Display Scanning across the store. The position may involve additional work for Custom Projects and is expected to be 10–15 hours per week across all stores, depending on store size and project requirements.
