Position Summary

Sales Representative based in Albuquerque, NM / El Paso, TX, responsible for driving results through relationship management with emergency medicine physicians, trauma surgeons, interventionalists, and nurses in the operating room and acute care hospitals. The role focuses on initial lead outreach to order fulfillment within Teleflex’s emergency medicine portfolio, including the Life‑Saving Arrow EZ‑IO Intraosseous Vascular Access System and Quik Clot Quick Clot Control+.

Main Responsibilities

• Prospect and execute new business opportunities to exceed targets.
• Develop and maintain a strategic territory business plan.
• Grow market share and increase utilization among accounts while securing new users.
• Exceed territory sales quota through pursuit of attaining goals.
• Ensure revenue and profitability goals through effective organizational and time management skills.
• Lead conversations, advocate customers, and build strong relationships with commitment to satisfaction; develop Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships.
• Build champions and navigate the VAC process to effect clinical preference practices.
• Move disruptive technology from no share to full share.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal communication, presentation skills, and proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrate superior product, clinical, and market understanding.
• Strong clinical/technical acumen.
• Teach safe and efficacious use of Teleflex emergency medicine products via customer training and product in‑services.
• Understand competitors’ technology/strategy and navigate competitive conversations.
• Foundation in healthcare economics and knowledge of GPOs/IDNs and corporate & healthcare contracting.
• Use Salesforce and Power BI to develop and maintain account profiles, build and manage a robust pipeline, and forecast accurately; analytically assess business and make informed decisions.

Education & Experience Requirements

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree; 8+ years of proven success in medical device sales strongly considered.
• Minimum of two (2) years prior medical device sales experience as an ASR or Full Line Rep, with a demonstrated track record of success.
• Operating room, trauma, and emergency medicine experience ideal; background in selling disruptive technology and growing market share.

Specialized Skills / Other Requirements

• Carry a detail bag weighing up to 20 lb and lift equipment up to 30 lb.
• Stand or walk 6–10 hours per day, up to five (5) days per week.
• Proficiency with computer technology and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
• Clean driving license.
• Hunter mentality, self‑directed, able to work independently and collaboratively handling multiple projects concurrently in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment.
• Shows strong teamwork, change management, emotional intelligence, and resiliency.

• Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings, weekends, and/or holidays as needed to meet business demands.

Travel Requirements

25–50% dictated by customer needs.
