Product Connections – Associate, Specialty Product Preparation (Part‑time)

Product Connections is seeking a part‑time associate responsible for preparing juice and other specialty products for purchase. This role involves food preparation, demonstration events, and ensuring compliance with safety and food handling standards.

• Properly set up and prepare the area for specialized food products.
• Read materials accompanying product demonstrations to understand program scope, instructions, production requirements, and compliance.
• Follow safety requirements when using equipment (e.g., hot machinery or sharp blades) and practice proper lifting techniques for boxes or heavy merchandise.
• Adhere to tasks and procedures related to safe food handling, preparation, production, packaging, labeling, merchandising, and disposal.
• Accurately complete all reporting requirements (including online requirements).
• Regularly check the product event schedule and e‑mail for upcoming activities, corporate news updates, event changes, and supervisor requests.
• Complete certifications and attend special training sessions as required.
• Follow safety and compliance guidelines for machine operation, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, sterile, safe work area using proper cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist teammates with event set‑up or clean‑up and kitchen duties when needed.
• Conduct food sampling and demonstrations to support business needs; follow set‑up and teardown guidelines.

• Previous experience in product marketing, product demonstrations, or the food, beverage, or restaurant industry is preferred.
• Ability to safely and effectively prepare juice or other specialty products for purchase.
• Ability to conduct demonstration and sampling events for products as needed.
• Applicable state and local food safety certification or license.
• Physical ability: lift ≥50 lbs several times per day; push wheeled machines weighing 50‑600 lbs; stand for extended periods; work varied hours; climb a 6′ step stool when necessary; tolerate cold and hot environments.

Retail store environment with regular interaction with co‑workers, management, and customers. Moderate to high noise levels; exposure to cold, refrigerated conditions, food products, and cleaning chemicals.
