• Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises, monitoring for unusual activities or safety hazards.
• Respond to guest inquiries and provide assistance during emergencies.
• Coordinate with local authorities as necessary.
• Maintain accurate logs of incidents and security activities.
• Conduct safety inspections and implement preventive measures.
• Engage with guests to promote a welcoming environment while remaining vigilant.

• Must have Security Level One Certificate.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Pass the jurisprudence examination with a score of 90% or higher.
• Provide proof of completing a department‑approved, in‑person training program.
• Submit all documentation required by the State of New Mexico.
• No online training is accepted. All training must be taught in person by a board‑recommended, department‑approved instructor.
