Salary:
Base wage of $16.20 per hour plus an additional $4.57 per hour disbursed through a 401(a) savings account or used for medical insurance.

Schedule:

FT swing shifts , WED-SUN). Veterans or retirees encouraged to apply.

• Protect company’s property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances
• Act lawfully in direct defense of life or property
• Apprehend criminals and evict violators
• Take accurate notes of unusual occurrences
• Report in detail any suspicious incidents
• Patrol building and perimeter randomly or regularly
• Monitor and control access at building entrances and vehicle gates
• Watch alarm systems or video cameras and operate detecting/emergency equipment
• Perform first aid or CPR

• Proven work experience as a security guard or relevant position
• Valid Class D Security License active with the State of New Mexico
• Ability to operate detecting systems and emergency equipment
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures/protocols
• Surveillance skills and detail orientation
• Integrity and professionalism
• High school diploma or equivalent

Must have a valid unarmed security guard license within the state of New Mexico.

Must complete background check, fingerprinting and drug screening to gain employment on a federal site. This will be done by Excelsior Defense after selection.

Upon offer, an employee must submit a drug screening and background run.
