As a Security Officer – Warehouse Site in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will actively monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment. Your presence and professionalism will play a key role in supporting a positive atmosphere, providing exceptional customer service, and engaging with employees and visitors.

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and engaging in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to maintain a secure environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the site and perimeter, which may include both interior and exterior areas of the location.
• Monitor for any suspicious activity and/or unauthorized access, and report findings according to established protocols.
• Communicate and collaborate with site staff and visitors to address security-related concerns and questions.
• Complete detailed reports and logs of patrols, incidents, and other relevant activities as required by site procedures.

• Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid security guard card and/or license issued by the state, county, or city is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
