As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Security Presence in Albuquerque, NM
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, observe and report security-related concerns, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while representing Allied Universal’s caring, reliable, and integrity-driven culture through teamwork.

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and members of the public at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, public inquiries, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, grounds, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization as directed, and assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately; promptly communicate security-related concerns to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
