Associated Universities, Inc. (AUI) operates the National Radio Astronomy Observatory’s facilities, including the Very Large Array (VLA). The Telescope Mechanic I will maintain and repair mechanical and electrical systems for radio telescopes, ensuring high reliability in a demanding, outdoor environment.
The role requires reading schematics, performing diagnostics, and collaborating with telescope operators. Must meet safety policies and hold a New Mexico driver’s license; CDL is preferred.
