We are looking for a Compliance & Reporting Engineer to join our Compliance & Reporting customer team. This is a unique opportunity to help shape a brand new team responsible for building configurable reports that enable Mark
43 to expand into new markets and support customers in new jurisdictions. Your work will have a direct impact on the company's growth by helping unlock new customers, accelerate deployments, and ensure our platform meets complex state and agency-specific reporting requirements.

If you were part of our team, here are some things you would have done last week:

• Built and configured reporting forms that satisfy state-specific compliance requirements, helping customers successfully deploy Mark
  43 in new jurisdictions.
• Partnered with Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, Product, and Engineering teams to understand customer reporting needs and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
• Developed configurable forms and reporting workflows that reduce customization while meeting diverse customer requirements.
• Worked with customers to troubleshoot reporting and compliance challenges and identify opportunities to improve the product.
• Helped establish engineering standards, processes, and best practices for a brand new team that will play a key role in Mark
  43's continued growth.
• Wrote and maintained scripts using JavaScript, JSON, and related technologies to support form configuration and automation.
• Improved internal documentation and tooling to make compliance reporting easier to build, maintain, and scale.

We're looking for a Compliance & Reporting Engineer with experience working in public safety technology and a passion for building solutions that directly impact customers. This role requires someone who is comfortable navigating technical challenges while collaborating closely with customer-facing teams to deliver practical, scalable outcomes.

Successful candidates will have:

• Professional experience working in the public safety technology space.
• Experience building or configuring forms, workflows, or reporting solutions.
• Experience with Forms.io is strongly preferred.
• Experience working with scripting and configuration technologies such as JavaScript, JSON, or similar languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience collaborating across Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and other cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers when needed.
