UNM Golf Courses seeks energetic, enthusiastic individuals to serve as On-Call Sports Equipment Attendants. Our 18-hole Championship Course and 9-hole North Course offer stunning views and a welcoming environment for players of all levels. Open 363 days a year, we require dedicated individuals who can help ensure the smooth operation of the courses and deliver an exceptional experience to all visitors.

As a Sports Equipment Attendant your day will include:

• Providing excellent customer service to golfers and visitors
• Cleaning, preparing, and operating golf carts for daily play
• Maintaining, washing, collecting, and distributing golf range balls and baskets
• Picking golf balls from the driving range
• Assisting with pace of play to ensure a smooth golfing experience
• Setting up the golf course for daily operations and special tournaments
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas to keep everything in top shape

We are looking for individuals who can work 2-3 days per week, including weekends, holidays, and split shifts. Whether you seek to grow your skills or enjoy being outdoors, UNM Golf Courses is the perfect place to develop experience in an exciting, fast‑paced setting.

• All regular, non‑temporary positions are represented by a labor union and subject to the CWA Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Employees working in patient care or clinical areas must comply with the University’s influenza vaccination requirement.

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities listed.
• Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year‑for‑year basis.

• Prior face‑to‑face customer service experience.
• Previous experience working at a golf course or possessing golf knowledge.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
• Positive, helpful attitude and flexibility.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to multi‑task.
