Responsible for receiving and sorting inbound freight from specified routes. Pallet building and meeting daily performance goals. Maintain warehouse cleanliness and complying with all safety regulations and requirements.
- Sort stack, and palletize empty totes and bins.
- Build pallets to meet customer quality standards.
- Band pallets to meet customer quality requirements.
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness and comply with all safety regulations and requirements.
- Adhere to established deadlines to meet pallet inbound daily goals.
- Load/unload trailers as needed using pallet jack equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee may occasionally be required to lift more than 50 pounds. The employee must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus.
