Job SummaryThe Warehouse Lead oversees day‑to‑day operations, maintains the facility and equipment, and ensures the safety and accuracy of all warehouse processes. The role includes supervision, training, inventory management, and occasional driving duties.
Responsibilities- Lead and coordinate workflow; schedule and assign tasks to team members.
- Train associates in safe, efficient operations.
- Ensure facility and grounds meet company and government safety standards.
- Maintain equipment and vehicles in safe operating condition.
- Execute SAP functions to streamline warehouse and delivery activities.
- Perform general Warehouse Associate duties.
- Coordinate the inventory process and communicate with internal customers about orders, inventory, and deliveries.
- Assist with driver record management to comply with state and federal regulations.
- Provide occasional delivery driver support when needed.
- Support drivers in meeting CDL requirements for trucks over 26,000 lbs.
- Participate in daily safety meetings and updates.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Two‑year business/trade degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum three years supervisory experience in a warehouse/logistics or comparable role.
- Knowledge of electrical products or systems preferred.
- Valid driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
- Prior forklift experience preferred.
- Proficient PC/Windows, Microsoft Office, Internet, Email, and SAP.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal, and reading communication.
- Strong planning and organizational skills.
- Customer‑service oriented; reliable, responsive, engaged.
- Positive attitude and leadership by example.
Candidates must be able to lift up to 100 lbs. and perform daily handling tasks. Detailed lift and carry charts are available upon request.
