The General Warehouse Associate is responsible for picking, scanning, labeling, moving, staging, replenishing, and stacking product. This individual is also responsible for counting and inspecting product and notifying leadership when there are damages or discrepancies. These Associates are accountable for the safe and efficient operation of all equipment and will be expected to perform all duties as assigned.
As part of the DSV team, Associates are expected to meet company objectives in the areas of performance, safety, and quality. Associates are expected to comply with all corporate and site‑specific policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Picking Responsibilities- Use a pallet jack to accurately pick orders to fulfill client demands. Efficiently and accurately pick products and stage in the appropriate areas.
- Stack, package, band, shrink wrap and label products as determined by client requirements.
- Process all picking functions as defined by the Standard Operating Procedures.
- Use the appropriate documentation to ensure that all products and orders are received, handled and shipped correctly.
- Verify that products and/or orders meet quality standards, including reporting any damages or discrepancies.
- Stack, package, shrink wrap, and label products.
- Process all quality control functions as defined by the SOP.
- Execute all safety protocols and accomplish all job tasks in a manner that promotes safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility and assist in security of the warehouse.
- Comply with all SOPs, corporate and site‑specific policies, safety rules, and OSHA/SDS Standards.
- Operate equipment such as pallet jack safely and efficiently.
- Maintain equipment and report any problems.
- Follow prescribed work methods.
- Assist with building, grounds, and equipment maintenance as assigned.
- Work overtime as dictated by business, whether mandatory or voluntary.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
- Must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse (mild to moderate).
- None.
- Computer:
None. - Language:
English (reading, writing, verbal). - Mathematical:
Basic to intermediate level (verify quantities, count inventory, etc.). - Other:
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and timely completion; ability to work with minimal supervision; adapt to change and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- 6 months experience working in a warehouse/logistics/distribution environment.
- Current or prior MHE certification.
- Occasionally:
Handling/Fingering, Sitting. - Frequently:
Bending. - Constantly:
Walking and Standing. - Ability to lift/carry and push/pull: 21-50 pounds.
- Reach above shoulder, reach outward, squat, or kneel.
- Rarely exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals.
- Noise level usually low to moderate.
