The purpose of the Gatehouse Attendant (Night) position is to monitor shipping/receiving access control for the security and safety of all personnel and to perform data entry and report distribution to ensure BEK operational efficiencies are met and maintained.

• Review all relevant logs and documentation to ensure daily activities are completed in a timely manner.
• Communicate with all relevant personnel to fulfill duties accurately and efficiently.
• Support appropriate security procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all BEK personnel.
• Perform other duties as required by management to ensure operational standards are met and maintained.

Note:
Normal work schedule for this position is 12:45PM - 9:15PM Monday through Friday. You must be able to work with schedule to be considered for the position.

• 3 months of work-related experience required; or combination of education and experience.
• Food service industry experience preferred.
• Computer and data-entry skills required; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic data entry (10-key by touch) skills.
• Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications.
• Basic math skills, as well as ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
• Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot).
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Self-starter with ability to multi-task.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment.
• Customer-focused.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• High School graduate or equivalent.
