Arconic’s Tennessee Operations, is one of the most modern aluminum fabricating facilities in the world. Our plants produce high‑quality molten metal and aluminum sheet and are recognized as a world leader in the business. The facility has been located at the Foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains for 100 years and continues to thrive and grow.

The objective of the Environmental Engineer is to ensure that equipment and plant practices conform to corporate environmental policy and federal, state and local regulations in a cost‑effective manner to reduce or eliminate environmental impacts. The incumbent will be accountable for coordinating and auditing plant systems that ensure compliance with applicable air, water, wastewater, waste and chemical requirements while providing guidance and support to plant personnel that perform the day‑to‑day performance of permit activities within their respective departments.

The primary program focus of this position will be water and/or waste management programs. Additionally, the Environmental Engineer will assist his/her supervisor with the development strategies and plans for Tennessee Operations.

This role is primarily day shift, Monday‑Friday. However, there is potential for the incumbent to work off‑shifts as needed to support the functions of this role and take calls as first line help chain during off‑shifts.
