Flight Simulator Technician - Night Shift
Location: Knoxville, Tennessee

Shift: 4/10 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM, Mon‑Fri
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform preventive maintenance following manufacturer schedules and procedures.
- Perform corrective maintenance using basic troubleshooting skills and guidance from senior technicians.
- Conduct daily simulator preflight and post‑flight checks on training devices.
- Execute power‑up and power‑down procedures as required.
- Provide technical support during simulator training events.
- Maintain maintenance records and documentation in accordance with company procedures.
- Keep inventory records up to date.
- Provide customer service support in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform housekeeping tasks to maintain the highest quality and presentation of training devices.
- Perform QTG tests.
- Under supervision, provide technical support during upgrades and modifications of training devices.
- Be flexible and willing to work any shift required by the Cirrus Vision Center operation, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to perform each essential function satisfactorily.

- Understanding of federal aviation regulations and standards applicable to flight simulators and training centers.
- Proficiency with software and hardware diagnostic tools for system‑level troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in the use of basic test equipment.
- Experience performing PC hardware and basic network maintenance.
- Understanding of aviation systems and avionics and their equivalence in the flight simulator.
- 2‑year technical degree in Electronics, Computer Technology, or related field, or 3 years of equivalent experience.
- 0 to 2 years direct flight simulator technical support.
