American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring a TN or compact RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications.

• Work in the Labor & Delivery unit within a hospital setting
• Patient population includes laboring mothers and newborns
• Special procedures include triage assessments, inductions, cesarean deliveries, external versions, NSTs, circumcisions, newborn resuscitation and stabilization, and magnesium sulfate administration
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts per week, 18:45 to 7:15
• Weekend coverage and call are required
• Floating to other units as needed based on skill set
• EPIC EMR is used, and one year of EPIC experience is required
• Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care to laboring mothers and newborns, performing specialized procedures, and responding to emergencies
• Team environment with support from other nurses and care providers
• Holiday coverage may be required as determined by the unit schedule
• Two professional references are required for consideration
• Dress code and scrub color details may be provided during onboarding

• Active TN or compact RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications
• At least two years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required
• No first‑time travelers accepted
• One year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Candidates must live more than 100 miles from any Prisma facility to be eligible
• Night shift travelers must live at least 50 miles from the facility
