Overview
Join to apply for the Merchandiser/Cashier role at O'Reilly Auto Parts.
Responsibilities- Greet customers on the sales floor, assist them in locating merchandise, and direct them to a parts specialist when needed.
- Check in, price, and stock items; keep merchandise displayed fronted, full, and clean daily.
- Make display changes according to company guidelines and planograms; implement all out-front price changes and ensure sale signs and flyer racks are stocked.
- Restore original pricing and remove sale materials when sales end.
- Assist with stock adjustments, cycle counts, and overstock returns.
- Work with the store manager to complete the store To Do List and Team Weekly tasks.
- Act as the main shoplifting deterrent and front-floor security.
- Assist with O’Reilly Image Maker responsibilities.
- Clock in/out according to company policy.
- Cashier duties: check out customers quickly and amicably, process returns, and assist when the express lane is busy (finishing tickets, handling payments).
- Required: Good aptitude for handling number sequences, strong interpersonal communication, and good organizational skills.
- Desired: Previous cashier and/or stocking experience; ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
