We're looking for aCOOBusiness Governance & Reporting Manager to join our COO Business Operations team. This is a great opportunity to play a key role at the heart of the COO function, supporting effective governance, high-quality reporting and well-structured decision making across a dynamic and fast-paced business area.

As COO Business Governance & Reporting Manager, you'll work closely with senior stakeholders to ensure the COO function operates within clear, effective and compliant governance arrangements.

About the role
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to colleagues within the COO functionon Group and RLMIS governance processes, standards,templates and procedural requirements
  • Supporting COO colleagues to understand and meet governance expectations, maintainingaccurateand accessible process documentation
  • Overseeing COO Operating Committee agendas and ensuring actions, outcomes and forward plans are clearly reflected in forward agendas
  • Ensuring COO governance forums have clear purposes, Terms of Referenceand management,information flows
  • Supporting the development of clear,compelling and decision-focused papers for Board, Executive-level Committees and COO governance forums.

    Drafting,reviewing and refining papers,reports and updates to ensure consistent,coherentand high-quality narratives
  • Coordinating COO monthly Board updates and drafting inputs into CEO and CFO Board updates where required
  • Overseeing a harmonious and coherent flow of information and updates between COO governance forums and Group governance structures, ensuring alignment and coherence as well as identifying
  • Opportunities to streamline and automate reporting and MI flows.
  • Supporting risk and control management, issue escalation and assurance actions.
About you
  • Experience developing high-quality Board-level papers, governance updates or senior reporting materials. Highly analytical, accurate and detail-focused, with the ability to maintain narrative coherence across papers and updates
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to create clear, structured and decision-focused narratives
  • Strongappliedunderstanding of governance frameworks within financial services
  • Excellent planning,organisationand coordination skills, with experience managing governance cycles
  • Ability to understand MI flows, escalationroutesand reporting pathways
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build trusted relationships and provide constructive challenge to senior colleague'scollaborative working style, strong verbal communicationskillsand the ability to build effective relationships across teams
  • Proactive,resilient and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A continuous-improvement mindset, with the ability to identify inefficiencies and turn ideas into practical, scalable improvements.
