Management Accountant

A fantastic permanent opportunity for a full time Management Accountant opportunity. Based in Alderley Edge, open to part qualified ACCA/CIMA or qualified by experience candidates.

• Prepare and analyse monthly management accounts
• Process balance sheet reconciliations
• P&L and cashflow analysis
• Monitor budgets and forecasts, ensuring alignment with company goals
• Provide detailed variance analysis
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with regulations
• Assist with the preparation of year-end accounts and liaise with auditors as needed
• Support the wider team with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis tasks
• Maintenance and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Full reconciliation of bank accounts across allocated entities, ensuring accurate cash and net debt reporting

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A recognised qualification in accounting or finance ACCA or CIMA - OR qualified by experience.
• Strong technical accounting skills and proficiency in financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
