About the role
We’re looking for a commercially minded Ecommerce Manager to lead online growth for our French market, working closely with the Senior Ecommerce Manager and cross‑functional teams. As a key member of the team, this role takes ownership of driving online growth for the French market.
Responsibilities- Lead and localise all marketing initiatives for the French market to ensure relevance and impact.
- Collaborate with central and regional teams to align local activity with the wider business strategy.
- Develop marketing strategies and plans using market insights, competitor analysis, and creative ideas to meet business goals and customer needs.
- Run market insights sessions and create effective briefs.
- Operate at execution and implementation level as a specialist across digital and marketing skill sets (SEO, influencer, content, affiliate, email, and more).
- Maintain a strong commercial focus, driving regional growth by monitoring and improving performance metrics.
- Manage website trading, including launching new products, updating content, and optimising the customer experience.
- Build and deliver French marketing and SEO campaigns to drive user acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue growth.
- Drive the evolution of brand positioning, ensuring clear, consistent messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Strategise and plan with intelligent, innovative, and outside‑the‑box approaches.
- Must be fluent in French, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering results.
- Highly organised, analytical, and confident presenting at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead transition and manage change.
- Able to think both creatively and commercially.
- Happy to work at both strategic and hands‑on operational levels.
- Proficient in Shopify (or similar e‑commerce platforms).
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis, reporting, and performance tracking.
- Experience in managing a small team.
- Confident working independently as well as collaboratively with teams.
