Dental Receptionist – Bupa Dental Care, Alderley Edge
We’re hiring! Join our friendly team at Bupa Dental Care. This 32‑hour per week role is based in Alderley Edge, Cheshire.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm.
Be the friendly face that makes every patient feel at ease from the moment they arrive. As our receptionist you’ll be the first point of contact for our patients — welcoming them warmly, supporting them throughout their visit, and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes.
Key Responsibilities- Customer care at the heart – warmly greet patients in person and over the phone, answer queries, and ensure a relaxed, welcoming environment.
- Diary & appointment management – handle bookings, cancellations, and rescheduling to keep the practice running efficiently.
- Support patients with confidence – explain processes and treatment options, support payment transactions, and help patients understand their options.
- Administration – keep patient records accurate, manage confidential information, and maintain a professional reception area.
- Problem‑solving with empathy – handle concerns and complaints professionally, aiming for a positive outcome.
- Support the team – assist clinicians with handovers and the patient journey from reception to treatment, aiding the Practice Manager.
- Previous experience in a customer‑focused role.
- Strong communication skills, both face‑to‑face and over the phone.
- Confidence using IT systems to manage bookings and records.
- A proactive, flexible approach – ready to help where needed.
- Professionalism, empathy, and genuine passion for delivering excellent service.
- Confidence in promoting and upselling Bupa Dental Care products and services.
- Dental experience preferred, but not essential.
- Full training provided for the right candidate.
- A caring, professional, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Great communication and customer service skills.
- Team player who enjoys helping others.
