Senior DDR Systems Validation Engineer

An innovative technology company operating within the satellite communications sector is looking to add a Senior DDR Validation Engineer to its growing engineering team. Chroma are supporting the search to help meet increasing demand across a range of advanced modem, FPGA and high-speed digital platforms.

This Senior DDR Validation Engineer role offers the opportunity to work on complex communications hardware, taking ownership of DDR validation, FPGA prototyping and system bring-up activities. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to validate next-generation products from development through to production.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DDR technologies, FPGA development and hardware validation within complex digital systems.

Senior DDR Validation Engineer Requirements:5+ years' experience in DDR validation, FPGA development or high-speed digital systems

Strong knowledge of DDR3/DDR4 architectures and validation methodologies

Experience with FPGA bring-up and development using Verilog/System Verilog Knowledge  of high-speed interfaces such as PCIe, USB and Ethernet Proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for automation and test development

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related discipline
