OPENING

HOURS:

Monday to Thursday (7 AM until 5:30 PM) & Friday (7 AM until 1 PM)

WORKING HOURS:

40 hours per week – Flexible (As long as you complete your 40 hours within the opening hours).

OVERTIME:
Overtime is consistently available and is paid at time-and-a-half.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Programming, setting, and running Doosan Puma CNC lathe, and Goodway’s CNC lathes, using Fanuc controls, with live tooling.

• Producing precision machined components to tight tolerances, for a range of industries, including Aerospace, Defence, Formula 1, and more.

• Working from detailed technical engineering drawings.

• Ensure all manufactured components meet the highest standards of quality and precision.

• Work closely with the engineering team to optimise processes and meet production deadlines.

• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues that may arise during machining.

REQUIREMENTS

• Previous experience in a CNC turning position within a precision machining environment is required.

• Previous experience programming using Fanuc controls is required

• Previous experience with live tooling is desirable.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.

HOLIDAY ENTITLEMENT: 26 days per year + all bank holidays (35 days in total) + Christmas shutdown
