Senior Staff Nurse Endoscopy

London / The Wellington Hospital Central Building, 21 Wellington Rd, London NW8 9SQ

Full time: 37.5 hours per week Monday –Friday

Shift times: 9AM-5PM

Permanent Contract

Salary: competitive dependent on experience

We’re looking for a Senior Staff nurse to join our Endoscopy Team at The Wellington Hospital site currently rated “Good” by the CQC.

The Wellington Hospital has over four decades of expertise; providing the highest level of care for patients who are looking for the best treatment in key areas of healthcare, including: neurosurgery, spinal surgery, cardiac care, orthopaedics, acute neurological rehabilitation, gynaecology and cancer care. The Wellington Hospital Endoscopy Unit is a JAG accredited site. We provide high quality patient service.

As a Senior Staff Nurse in our Endoscopy department, you will provide effective, research-based care, taking responsibility for the assessment, planning implementation and delivery of high-quality programmes of patient care and being responsible for running procedure lists and be included in the on‑call support service to the Endoscopy Unit.

The team consists of diverse 12‑15 staff, consisting of Nurses, HCA's and Admin. We are friendly, supportive and dedicated to the delivery of best patient care.

What

you’ll bring
  • NMC Registration

  • 5 years experience in Endoscopy/has worked as a Senior Staff Nurse within Endoscopy.

  • ENB course/experience of advanced Endoscopy

  • Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures

  • Health and Safety training
