Pediatric Nurse
We are seeking an experienced nurse with strong leadership skills to deliver high-quality care for children and young people with complex health needs. You will lead clinical practice, manage caseloads, and support colleagues and school staff while making a real difference every day.
You will develop expertise in epilepsy and seizure management, enteral feeding, medicines management, clinical assessment, and respiratory care, while building skills in safeguarding, service improvement, and multidisciplinary working. As a senior nurse, you will supervise junior colleagues, delegate effectively, and promote safe, high-quality care.
Our team supports nine special schools across Hampshire, Portsmouth, Southampton, and the Isle of Wight. We offer a structured rotational induction, leadership development, blended learning, regular supervision, and opportunities to mentor staff, deliver training, and lead service improvements. You can also develop specialist interests through link nurse roles and access CPD funding.
Applicants must hold UK nursing registration and have experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities and complex health needs. A full UK driving licence is essential.
If you are looking for a rewarding leadership role where you can grow professionally and make a lasting impact, we would love to hear from you.
Location: Henry Tyndale School Nursing Team, Farnborough.
