Location: Aldershot
Salary: £40,000 to £42,000 plus bonus and benefits
Employment Type: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract
Working Arrangements: Hybrid Working (2 days on site, 3 from home)
We re looking for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer to help establish and embed strong supplier quality standards across a growing European supply base. You ll develop and maintain supplier quality processes, ensuring all suppliers meet required manufacturing and business controls.
The role includes on site and remote audits across Europe, suited to someone who enjoys a hands on, fast paced quality environment with regular travel. Ideal for a Supplier Quality Engineer with solid experience preferably automotive who can assess suppliers, drive improvements, and uphold high standards.
Key Responsibilities for the Supplier Quality Engineer:
- Develop, create, and implement supplier quality standards across the European supply base
- Conduct on site and remote audits of new and existing suppliers
- Evaluate supplier manufacturing controls and ensure alignment with required quality standards
- Monitor supplier performance and drive corrective actions where necessary
- Build strong relationships with suppliers to support continuous improvement
- Support internal teams with supplier quality insights, risk assessments, and recommendations
- Contribute to the long term development of supplier quality frameworks and processes
What You ll Bring:
- Proven experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer, ideally within the automotive industry
- Proven experience with 8D, root cause, FMEA, audit processes
- Proven experience with APQP/PPAP
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and supplier auditing
- Ability to assess supplier capability, identify risks, and drive improvements
- Confident communicator with the ability to challenge, influence, and collaborate effectively
- Structured, analytical approach with strong problem solving skill
