This is a skilled position that involves maintenance and operation of conveyor and crushing equipment at the quarry. Quarry experience is required.

• Thorough mechanical knowledge of crushers and related equipment.
• Analyze malfunctions, repair, and rebuild conveyors and crushing equipment.
• Examine parts for damage or excessive wear.
• Weld broken parts and structural members using stick welding processes.

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Proficiency with addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure.
• Currently valid welding certifications.

The employee frequently sits, climbs, and uses hands to finger, handle, or feel. Sometimes stands, walks, crawls, kneels, bends, and reaches. Occasionally lifts 10 to 30 lbs. Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
