RN Med-Surg (PRN) job at Russell Medical . Alexander City, AL.
RN Med-Surg (PRN)JOB SUMMARY:
Provides professional nursing care through the assessment, treatment, and education of patients in accordance with physician’s treatment plans. Cares for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical issues or are recovering from surgery. Average 6:1 nurse to patient ratio.
- EDUCATION:
Associate Degree in Nursing - EXPERIENCE:
No experience required - LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS:
Registered Nurse. BLS certification within 90 days of hire required. Med-Surg: ACLS certification preferred. - EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, WORK AIDS:
Patient therapeutic equipment/machines or their reasonable accommodation. - SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of appropriate patient population growth and development.
SCHEDULE:
PRN (varies as needed)
