Northwestern State University's College of Nursing and School of Allied Health seeks an applicant for a 12-month full-time faculty position for the Associate/Bachelor of Science degree programs in Nursing available in Alexandria beginning August 4, 2025.

Qualifications:- Master of Science in Nursing (Doctorate preferred)
- Eligible for undergraduate faculty membership
- Unencumbered RN licensure in Louisiana or eligible for licensure
- At least three years of clinical nursing experience
- At least three years of nurse educator experience; three or more preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and meet university standards
- Perform faculty duties within a large nursing education department
- Support program expansion in Alexandria and surrounding areas
- Teach courses promoting academic excellence and student engagement
- Evaluate student outcomes and provide feedback
- Serve as a professional role model
- Represent the university positively
- Maintain records and documentation
- Uphold confidentiality and comply with laws and policies
- Participate in policy development, meetings, and committees
- Maintain office hours and reliable attendance
- Mentor students and engage in college activities
- Recruit students and act as a liaison with external agencies
