, a Leavitt Group affiliate, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Commercial Lines Account Manager to join their team in Alexandria, LA.
As an Assistant Account Manager
, you will support our Account Executives and Account Managers by providing exceptional service to clients and maintaining a growing book of business. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, motivated to learn, and eager to grow in the insurance industry.
- Assist with servicing new and renewal business by gathering client information, preparing documents, and supporting underwriting and marketing activities.
- Maintain accurate data in our agency management system (AMS
360). - Generate ACORD forms, prepare proposals, policy books, and other documents.
- Issue insurance verification documents such as , binders, and certificates.
- Process policy changes, cancellations, audits, endorsements, and premium finance quotes.
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and internal team members to resolve service needs and escape issues when appropriate.
- Monitor follow‑ups, manage documentation, and support daily administrative tasks including incoming/outgoing mail and main line calls.
- Contribute to a positive, professional team environment and assist with special projects as needed.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- A willingness to learn commercial insurance lines and develop technical expertise.
A Property & Casualty license is preferred, but if you don’t have one, we’ll help you obtain it within your first 6 months.
Professional DevelopmentWe encourage ongoing learning. Industry designations (CISR, etc.) are supported and expected within 2 years.
