Production Operator

Overview

Join Crown Health Care Laundry Services, LLC. as a Production Operator
. This role rotates through the plant’s production areas—Soil and Clean—to facilitate the receiving, sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and loading of linens for hospitals and medical facilities. You will learn and operate various equipment, meet safety and quality standards, and support production needs as directed.

• $11.00/yr - $12.00/yr

• Open returned soiled bags (≈45 lb each), discard plastic, and pre‑sort classifications.
• Operate on the work platform, moving between multiple positions on the steel belt to sort linens into designated bins.
• Assist cart cleaners in cleaning, sterilizing, and restoring carts for reuse.

• Catcher
  : secure bins, stack, and build linen carts; monitor for jams and contact maintenance when necessary.
• Hand Folder
  : hand fold items, stack, and place on belts; evaluate and remove damaged or non‑company linens.
• Ironer
  : feed linens through the ironer machine, monitor quality, and call maintenance for jams or malfunctions.
• Perform additional assignment duties as directed to meet production requirements.

• Build and weigh finished carts of clean linens, log weights into shipping software.
• Attach order documentation to carts and track completed orders.
• Assist in loading delivery trucks and substitute for other production roles if needed.
• Requires basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software.
• Must receive a Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Evaluates and records cart weights accurately to ensure compliance.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Excellent teamwork skills and flexibility to rotate between all jobs.
• Ability to meet quality and safety standards and perform essential functions with or without accommodations.
• Good record‑keeping and analytical skills.
• Basic computer knowledge.
