Registered Nurse – RN (Longleaf Hospital)

Longleaf Behavioral Healthcare invites qualified Registered Nurses to join our Full‑time Night behavioral health team. The role supports high‑quality psychiatric nursing, engages families, and promotes recovery in a collaborative setting.

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
• Maintain accurate medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Apply nursing standards per state regulations, facility policies, and clinical protocols.
• Administer medications, document counts, and ensure precise medication administration record.
• Communicate therapeutically with patients, visitors, and multidisciplinary team members.
• Document treatment plans upon admission and update as needed.
• Demonstrate universal precautions and direct patient care within scope of practice.

• Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in the state of employment (eligible to practice as required).
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/mental health or substance abuse background a plus.
• CPR, de‑escalation, and restraint certification required; training available upon hire.
• First aid certification may be required per state or facility requirements.

7 pm–7 am nights – Full‑time, 40 hours per week.
